The Fort Garland Museum and Cultural Center in Colorado and the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos, New Mexico, are hosting “Unearthing Futures / Desenterrando Futuros,” an immersive cross-border exhibition exploring adobe as a living practice that connects art, architecture, and ancestral knowledge across the southwestern United States. The Trinchera Foundation, The Moore Charitable Foundation’s Colorado affiliate, is among those supporting the exhibition at the Fort Garland location. The show opens June 28 and runs through February 28, 2027, and features installations by artists Ronald Rael, Santino Gonzales, Joanna Keane Lopez, Gabriel Chaile, Rafa Esparza, and Christine Howard Sandoval.
