The Trinchera Blanca Foundation, The Moore Charitable Foundation’s Colorado affiliate, supported the art installation of a sandhill crane sculpture in downtown Alamosa, Colorado. Renowned sculptor Jocelyn Russell created “Into Thin Air: Cranes in Flight” to honor the migratory birds that call the San Luis Valley home. Weighing just under 700 pounds, the sculpture celebrates both wildlife and community, standing as a lasting tribute to the Valley’s natural heritage and the people who cherish it.
